Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Kerns. It is very convenient to park. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in this township since there are a fair number of slopes, and Kerns has quite poor cycling infrastructure. Kerns is also not very well-suited for those who get around by foot because meeting daily needs is nearly impossible without a vehicle.

Housing

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Kerns. Roughly 45% of properties in this township were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
