    Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Lake Bonavista. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 90% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. Many of the properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 2000s.
