It is very convenient to access a place to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway from any location in this part of Saint John. In contrast, Lancaster is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very convenient for pedestrians as carrying out daily needs is very impractical without a car. Commuting by bicycle is also challenging in Lancaster because the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there are quite a few slopes.
