    Laurel is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. This area is great for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, most locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to public green spaces, including Silver Berry Park and Laurel Park, since there are around 20 of them close by for residents to visit.

    Transportation

    Driving is a fairly good transportation option in Laurel. It is easy to access a place to park. In contrast, the public transit network in Laurel is sometimes poor. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Walking is not especially feasible for residents in Laurel because meeting daily needs is sometimes challenging without a vehicle. On the other hand, this part of the city is rather appropriate for cycling since there are a fair number of bike lanes.

    It is convenient to reach the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from any location in Laurel. In addition, Laurel is a good place in which to eat out, and there are also a few coffee shops in this neighbourhood. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to access primary schools and daycares from most properties for sale in this part of Edmonton. In contrast, there are no high schools in Laurel.
