People who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Le Nord-Ouest de l’Ile de Montréal. This neighbourhood features a fair amount of greenery as many tree-lined streets are present. It is easy to reach public green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood, since numerous residences have one close by and there are over 150 parks close by for residents to check out. This area is also very quiet, as the streets are usually very peaceful.
The favoured method to get around in Le Nord-Ouest de l’Ile de Montréal is usually driving. It is very convenient to find a place to park. In contrast, Le Nord-Ouest de l’Ile de Montréal is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is the Sunnybrooke Station and Roxboro–Pierrefonds Station with access to the Deux-Montagnes Line. Homeowners occupy roughly 70% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood and 30% are rented. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
A portion of home buyers in this part of the city may be able to access one of over 50 grocery stores on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their home is situated in this part of the city, daycares and primary schools are close by. In contrast, families may consider it challenging for their kids to get to high schools on foot. Besides public schools, there are private primary and high schools.
