Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Lesters. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and accessing a parking spot is quite easy. However, public transit users may experience very limited options in Lesters due to the low service level. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is occasionally challenging to travel by bike in Lesters since the terrain is not particularly flat, and the bicycling network is quite poor. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who get around as pedestrians as many daily needs are difficult to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

House buyers in this area often have to turn to a car to purchase their groceries. A small selection of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. When it comes to education, it is a rather short trip to reach daycares from most properties for sale in this part of St. John's. In contrast, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Lesters.
