Reaching public green spaces, including Anndale Park and Bechtel Park, is easy from most locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to check out. This area is also good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as the streets tend to be tranquil - although that is not the case around Highway 85.

Transportation

Lincoln is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 85. In contrast, the public transit service in Lincoln is rather poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not particularly well-suited for walking because most daily needs are at times difficult to carry out by walking. Lincoln is also not especially amenable to biking as there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing roughly 60% of buildings in Lincoln, while large apartment buildings and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. About 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Homeowners occupy roughly 70% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood while the rest are rented.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in Lincoln and consequently they can be a long walk away. Moreover, Lincoln does not contain any high schools. Likewise, it can be challenging to get to daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, the closest supermarket in Lincoln is generally only a rather short walk away. Moreover, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a limited number of coffee shops can be found as well.
