Cars are an excellent transportation option in Long Point. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. Bicycling is difficult in Long Point because there are very few bike lanes. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. Long Point is also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because almost no daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.

Housing

About one third of homes in Long Point were built between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 2000s.
