Lot 13 is an extremely good township for driving. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. Lot 13 is not very bike-friendly since the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists. This township is also not very conducive to pedestrians since almost no daily errands can be run without needing to get in a vehicle.

Housing

Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the township are occupied by homeowners while renters occupy the remainder. The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of this township is an important part of its character. About 30% of properties in this part of Prince County were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This township is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries. When it comes to education, this township does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, it can be very hard to access daycares on foot.
