Lot 17 is a township to buy a house in for those who prefer a laid-back atmosphere. It remains relatively calm in Lot 17, as there are very few pedestrians.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in Lot 17. It is very easy to access a parking spot. Lot 17 is not very bicycling-friendly since the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling network is not very extensive. A majority of the houses for sale in this township are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who like to travel by walking because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Housing

The housing stock of Lot 17 is composed primarily of single detached homes and townhouses. About one third of properties in this township were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This township also has a selection of housing sizes; there is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this township. About 85% of the units in the township are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented.

Services

House buyers in Lot 17 almost always have to turn to a car to purchase their groceries. Regarding education, high schools often require a very long distance to get to, and there are no primary schools in this township. Moreover, daycares are not numerous and accordingly not always within a short distance.
