Cars are an excellent transportation option in this township. Parking is quite easy. Lot 20 is not very amenable to bicycling as the bicycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. A majority of the homes for sale in this township are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who travel on foot as meeting daily needs is nearly impossible without a vehicle.

Housing

Nearly 95% of the population of this township own their home and 5% are renters. Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing almost all dwellings in this township, whereas the remainder are mainly townhouses. About one third of properties in this part of Queens County were constructed after the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This township is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

This township does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, parents and their schoolchildren may find it very difficult to get to daycares by walking. With respect to eating, a car is almost always required in Lot 20 to reach the nearest grocery store.
