Lot 21 is a wonderful township to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Most areas in Lot 21 are very quiet, as the streets are usually very peaceful.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Lot 21. It is very easy to come across a place to park. Travelling by bicycle is very hard in Lot 21 because there are quite a few hills, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to navigate this township as running daily errands is nearly impossible without a car.

Housing

In Lot 21, almost all buildings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. Around 30% of properties in this township were built following the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This part of Queens County is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the population of this township own their home and 10% are renters.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries. When it comes to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Lot 21. In addition, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long stroll away.
