Most areas in Lower Ship Harbour are especially quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of the municipality. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. Lower Ship Harbour is not very appropriate for cycling since there are very few bike lanes, and there are quite a few slopes. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Halifax are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who get around as pedestrians because almost no daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
