Maillardville offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is very easy to access green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to check out. The noise levels in this part of Coquitlam are also reasonably low, as the streets are usually peaceful - although there are still several noisier areas, especially near Trans-Canada Highway.


This area will appeal to property owners that use a diversity of modes of transportation. The good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle thanks to a few nearby bus lines. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly two thirds of the dwellings in Maillardville and one third are rented. Parents and their kids will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most homes for sale in Maillardville. Along with public schools, there are private primary and high schools. When it comes to eating, it is usually possible for home buyers in this neighbourhood to buy their groceries by walking. Furthermore, Maillardville is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and a small variety of coffee shops is available as well. It is also a reasonably short distance to a decent choice of clothing stores.
