Maple Ridge real estate guide & listings for sale

Maple Ridge is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. The noise levels in this area are very low, as the streets are usually especially peaceful. Finally, most locations within the neighbourhood have fairly good access to green spaces, like Maple Downs Park, since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in.


Maple Ridge is an extremely convenient part of Edmonton for getting around by car. Many houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and parking is easy. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in Maple Ridge as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in this area because very few daily needs can be carried out on foot. This part of the city is also not especially bicycling-friendly because the area is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes.


The sizeable proportion of mobile homes in the housing stock of Maple Ridge is an important part of its character. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened between 1960 and 1980. There is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this part of the city. Homeowners occupy about 90% of the properties in Maple Ridge and 10% are rented.


Maple Ridge does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, parents and their children may find it very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, the nearest supermarket in this neighbourhood is typically only a short walk away. A small number of restaurants are available in Maple Ridge as well.
