    Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in Marinette. It is very easy to come across a place to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to move around in Marinette as meeting daily needs is practically impossible without a vehicle. Bicycling is also very hard in this part of Halifax because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

    Housing

    About 30% of properties in Marinette were constructed before the 1960s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.     In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in this part of the municipality to reach the nearest grocery store. With regards to education, this community does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not numerous and consequently tend to require a very long trip to get to.
