Masstown offers a calm ambience. Masstown is reasonably quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case close to Masstown Connection or Highway 104.

Transportation

Driving is very often the preferred method to get around in this part of the subdivision of a county municipality. Many homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 104, and it is very convenient to park. Moving around by bicycle is very hard in Masstown since the area is not particularly flat, and the cycling network is not very well-developed. Walking is also not very convenient for property owners in this neighbourhood because running common errands is impractical without a car.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Masstown is an important part of its character. About 30% of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This part of the subdivision of a county municipality is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Masstown. Likewise, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long trip away. With respect to eating, home buyers in this area almost always need a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.
