McLean is a very good village to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Most areas in McLean are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured approach to move around in McLean. Parking is generally easy. McLean is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. It is also very difficult for people walking to navigate this village as running common errands is almost impossible without a car.

Housing

The large percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of McLean is an important part of its character. It is a very short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most homes for sale in this village. However, McLean does not contain any high schools. With respect to eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in McLean to access the nearest supermarket.
