Metrotown-Central Park is a great part of the city for those who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Although this neighbourhood is not known for its lively ambience, its busier streets are still quite dynamic, and with its a few nightlife venues, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located a short distance away. However, public green spaces, such as Bonsor Park and BC Parkway, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to relax in, making them very easy to reach.

Transportation

Metrotown-Central Park provides home buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. The majority of dwellings are large apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in this part of Burnaby, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. The proportions of homeowners and renters are about even. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.

It is very convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store by foot from any location in this neighbourhood. In addition, there are over 50 restaurants and around 10 cafes to benefit from in this area. A very good variety of clothing stores is also located within a short walking distance, for instance along Kingsway. Concerning education, families will find that wherever their property is situated in this part of the city, daycares and schools are nearby.
