Middle Lake is a wonderful village to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Middle Lake is very quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred way to get around in this village. Parking is easy. This village is not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very feasible for home buyers in this village since meeting daily needs is practically impossible without a vehicle.

Housing

The sizeable proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Middle Lake is an important part of its character. About one third of homes in this village were built in the 1980s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This part of Division No. 15 is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 90% of the units in Middle Lake while the rest are rented.

In Middle Lake, parents and their kids will almost always be able to access both primary and secondary schools on foot. On the other hand, it can be very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. When it comes to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to do groceries.
