Driving is an excellent transportation option in this community. It is straightforward to come across a parking spot. Most houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very convenient for pedestrians as very few daily needs can be met without a car. The bicycle is a rather poor means of transportation in Murray River as there are a good number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Housing

The substantial proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Murray River is an important part of its character. Most housing in this community was built before the 1960s, during its biggest building boom. This part of Kings County is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes.
