Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this neighbourhood. The bike is a rather poor means of transportation in Northeast as the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and riding is rendered strenuous by the often hilly terrain.

Townhouses are the most common housing type, representing about 40% of buildings in this part of Mississauga, while the rest are mainly large apartment buildings and single detached homes. Around 30% of properties in this area were constructed following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of the city also has a choice of housing size options; this area is particularly good for those looking for three bedroom homes.

Services

The closest supermarket in Northeast is typically only a reasonably short walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also approximately 40 coffee shops in Northeast. Property owners can find a fair number of clothing stores within walking distance. In terms of education, it can be challenging to access high schools and primary schools as a pedestrian from homes for sale in this neighbourhood. Likewise, families may find it very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. At the secondary level, both public and private schools can be found.
