Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides is good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several noisier areas, especially near Autoroute Laurentienne. Parks aren't well-situated, resulting in them being rather difficult to access from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood.
