Okanagan (Part) 1 is very good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Transportation

Travelling by car is especially convenient in this reserve. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. This part of the Vernon metropolitan area is not very well-suited for walking since meeting daily needs is very inconvenient on foot.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing around 70% of dwellings in Okanagan (Part) 1, but mobile homes are also present in the housing stock. About 40% of properties in this reserve were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This reserve offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. About 85% of the population of this reserve own their home while the remainder are renters.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Okanagan (Part) 1. As far as eating is concerned, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in this reserve to do groceries by walking.
