Transportation
Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in Old Crow. Parking is quite easy. Most houses for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very conducive to pedestrians because running day-to-day errands is almost impossible without needing to resort to a car. Old Crow is also not very bike-friendly since the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad. Nevertheless, riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.
Housing
About 30% of properties in Old Crow were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of this part of Yukon is an important part of its character. About three quarters of the population of this community rent their home whereas the remainder are owners. This part of Yukon is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Parents and their kids will value that no matter where their property is located in Old Crow, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this community. When it comes to eating, property owners in this community almost always have to turn to a car to shop for their groceries.
