This part of Edmonton is especially quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Transportation

Cars are a very good means of transportation in Ozerna. It is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of Edmonton, and coming across a parking spot is easy. In contrast, Ozerna is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Walking is not very feasible for residents in Ozerna as running daily errands is sometimes difficult on foot. On the other hand, biking is easy in this part of Edmonton because it is an even ride to most locations, and the bicycling infrastructure is great.

Housing

About 45% of properties in Ozerna were constructed in the 1990s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 2000s. The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character. Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are occupied by renters. This area also has a variety of unit sizes; however this neighbourhood is especially good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to access primary schools from most properties for sale in this part of the city. However, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. With regards to eating, property owners in this part of Edmonton generally have to turn to a car to travel to the closest supermarket. Nevertheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some staple foods.
