Panorama Village is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Most areas in this part of the municipality are quiet, as the streets are usually tranquil - although there are still several louder sections, especially near Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, parks are easy to access since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in this part of West Vancouver. Most real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is especially convenient to access a parking spot. On the other hand, Panorama Village is not a very pleasant part of West Vancouver for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. This part of the municipality is not very conducive to walking since running common errands is impractical. Getting around by bicycle is also very difficult in Panorama Village as there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes.

Housing

In Panorama Village, the majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings and townhouses are the main alternatives in the housing stock. This part of West Vancouver has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the remainder are renters. This neighbourhood did not experience a single construction boom; the construction of new homes in this neighbourhood was spread throughout several decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in this part of West Vancouver to access the closest grocery store. There are a few restaurants in this neighbourhood. Regarding education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Panorama Village. Additionally, families may consider it very hard for their kids to reach daycares on foot.
