One of the highlights of Panorama Village is its vast selection of green spaces. Parks are very well-located and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, which makes it very easy to reach them. It remains relatively calm in this part of West Vancouver, due to the presence of very few pedestrians.

Transportation

Driving is very often the preferred method of transportation in this part of the municipality. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to reach from any location in Panorama Village. In contrast, this part of West Vancouver is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally around the corner. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very suitable for pedestrians because running day-to-day errands is sometimes difficult without a vehicle. Bicycling is also challenging in Panorama Village as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and riding a bike is made arduous by the typically steep terrain.

Housing

The homes in this neighbourhood are quite new, because roughly one third of its buildings were built after the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. Over half of the housing stock of this part of the municipality consists of small apartment buildings and single detached homes, while the rest are mainly townhouses. Roughly 80% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented. This part of the municipality is primarily composed of two bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

Services

A car is generally needed in this area to reach the closest supermarket. There are a few restaurants in this part of West Vancouver. As far as education is concerned, families will find that no matter where their property is located in Panorama Village, daycares are nearby. However, there are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and therefore they can be a long trip away. Moreover, Panorama Village does not contain any primary schools.
