The character of Parkridge is exemplified by its calm environment. There are about 10 public green spaces close by for residents to explore, like Morris T. Cherneskey West and James Girgulis Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it easy to access them. This part of the city is also excellent for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
