People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Parkview. It is very easy to access parks from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out. This area is also especially quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic.


Driving is a very good transportation option in Parkview. It is straightforward to access a parking spot, and nearby highways are reasonably easy to reach from any home in this area. However, public transit users may experience limited options in Parkview by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from around 20 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. Parkview is amenable to biking because the bicycling infrastructure is good, and cyclists do not encounter significant slopes. Travelling on foot is not especially convenient for house buyers in this area as running daily errands is at times challenging by walking.

This part of the city experienced its main construction boom pre-1960, so most of the available housing is from this era.


It is straightforward to reach the nearest supermarket on foot in this part of Edmonton. A small number of restaurants can be found in Parkview as well. Likewise, it is a reasonably short walk to a decent choice of clothing stores. With regards to education, families will value the proximity to both primary and secondary schools, which are within walking distance from vast majority houses for sale in Parkview. However, parents and their children may find it difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian.
