There is a fairly good selection of green spaces in Pido. It is easy to get to parks in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. Finally, noise can sometimes be an issue in this neighbourhood, as during rush hour, traffic can occasionally be bothersome.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 115, are particularly easy to reach from any home in Pido, and most of the street network is built for driving. However, travelling by transit can be challenging in Pido as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. Pido is not very well-suited for pedestrians because most daily needs are occasionally challenging to meet without the use of a vehicle. Bicycling is also difficult in this neighbourhood because the topography is not particularly flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Nevertheless, certain enjoyable sectors for cycling can be found.

Housing

Around 40% of properties in Pido were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. In this neighbourhood, most buildings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. Around 60% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 40% are rented. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

It is difficult to reach the nearest supermarket on foot in Pido. Likewise, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and residents are served by a few cafes as well. In terms of education, daycares are convenient to reach as a pedestrian from anywhere in this part of the city. However, Pido does not have any primary schools or high schools.
