Potter Greens is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. This part of Edmonton is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is easy to reach public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out.


Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this area. The majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be occasionally challenging in Potter Greens by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Potter Greens is not very well-suited for walking since carrying out daily needs is impractical on foot. In contrast, this area is quite bicycling-friendly because Potter Greens boasts a fairly good cycling infrastructure.


The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Potter Greens is an important part of its character. This area experienced its biggest building boom in the 1990s, so most of the available housing is from this era. This part of the city offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Roughly all of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented.


Daycares are easy to get to on foot from most houses for sale in this part of Edmonton. On the other hand, Potter Greens does not have any primary schools or high schools. With respect to food, it is generally an option for house buyers in Potter Greens to do their grocery shopping on foot. There are also a few choices for those who value nearby restaurants.
