The preferred approach to navigate Rhatigan Ridge is usually driving. It is especially convenient to park, and most real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. In contrast, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. It is easy to move around by bike in Rhatigan Ridge since there are a fair number of bike lanes. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in this neighbourhood since very few common errands can be run on foot.


Rhatigan Ridge experienced its largest building boom between 1980 and 1990, so most of the available properties are from this time period. Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in this area. Nearly 95% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. This part of Edmonton is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.


Primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from most properties for sale in Rhatigan Ridge. In contrast, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. With regards to eating, it is convenient to reach the nearest supermarket on foot from anywhere in Rhatigan Ridge. There are also a few restaurants and coffee shops in this part of the city.
