Riverside is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. It is easy to access public green spaces from many locations in the neighbourhood, since there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to check out and reaching a park is very easy from the majority of homes for sale. This area is also good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be bothersome close to Highway 401 or one of the railway lines.
Transportation
The preferred way to navigate Riverside is usually a car. It is easy to access a parking spot, and many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, getting around by transit can be difficult in Riverside due to the low service level. Moreover, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a good number of options, and a small variety of cafes can be found as well. With respect to education, daycares and primary schools are convenient to access without the use of a vehicle from anywhere in Riverside. On the other hand, parents may find it very hard for their kids to get to high schools by walking.
