Riverview Area is very quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Green spaces are distributed sporadically, resulting in them being sometimes hard to get to from many locations in the neighbourhood. Transportation

Riverview Area is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park. In contrast, Riverview Area is not very transit friendly. It is difficult to commute by bike in Riverview Area because there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite bad. It is also very challenging for people travelling on foot to navigate this part of the city as almost no common errands can be run on foot.

This neighbourhood experienced its most significant building boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this era. This area also has a variety of unit sizes; there is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this area. Roughly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the rest are renters.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Riverview Area. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely practical for property owners in Riverview Area to access the nearest supermarket on foot.
