This part of District of North Vancouver is also fairly good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred approach to navigate Roche Point. Accessing a parking spot is easy. In contrast, the public transit service in Roche Point is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Although there is a high density of bike riders, Roche Point is not particularly amenable to cycling as there are few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of slopes. This part of District of North Vancouver is also not very convenient for walking as carrying out daily needs is challenging.

Housing

Roughly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas the remainder are renters. In this neighbourhood, many buildings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly duplexes and townhouses. Roughly half of properties in this part of District of North Vancouver were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

Services

House buyers in this part of the municipality will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. When it comes to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. Additionally, daycares are not especially abundant and therefore not always within walking distance.
