Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in Rocky Ridge. It is very easy to find a place to park. However, the public transit system in Rocky Ridge is rather limited. Nonetheless, commuters can rely on Tuscany Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain. There are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. It is challenging for people travelling on foot to get around in Rocky Ridge because very few common errands can be run without a car. However, this part of the city is rather cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is reasonably good.

Housing

In Rocky Ridge, about two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. This part of the city offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. About 80% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. The homes in this part of the city are very new, since the majority of its dwellings were constructed following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1990s.

Services

It is a short walk to access daycares from most properties for sale in Rocky Ridge. However, this area does not have any primary schools or high schools. In terms of eating, a supermarket is ordinarily accessible within a reasonably short stroll from any home in this part of the city. A limited number of restaurants and cafes are available as well.
