Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this unorganized area. Parking is easy. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in Sagard because this unorganized area is home to quite poor cycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Sagard as running common errands is nearly impossible without a car.

Housing

In Sagard, about 80% of dwellings are single detached homes, and the remaining properties are mainly mobile homes. A majority of the housing growth in this part of Charlevoix-Est occurred between 1960 and 1980. This unorganized area offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the unorganized area are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented.

Services

This unorganized area does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not abundant and consequently not always within walking distance. With regards to eating, it is very rarely feasible for property owners in Sagard to travel to the closest supermarket by foot.
