Transportation

Saint-Eugène is an extremely convenient part of the Greater Drummondville metropolitan area for moving around by car. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Jean-Lesage. This part of the Greater Drummondville metropolitan area is not very conducive to pedestrians because almost no common errands can be run without a car. The bicycle is a rather poor method of transportation in Saint-Eugène since there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, it is a flat ride to most destinations.

Housing

Roughly 80% of the dwellings in the municipality are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. The sizeable proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of this part of Drummond is an important part of its character.
