Sainte-Julie is a reasonably good city to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Greenery is not particularly present in this city; more specifically, residents will find that most streets have below average tree coverage. However, there are approximately 30 public green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to access. Most areas in this city are quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier sections, especially near Autoroute Jean-Lesage or Autoroute de l'Acier.


Sainte-Julie is an extraordinarily good part of the Montréal metropolitan area for travelling by car. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute de l'Acier, are quite easy to access from anywhere in this city, and it is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in Sainte-Julie is rather limited. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines traversing the city, and most residences are close to a bus stop. Walking is not very convenient for home buyers in Sainte-Julie as most daily needs are impractical to meet on foot.
