People who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy sector C. This area features almost no greenery; however, public green spaces, like Grand Parc Urbain, are very well-situated and there are approximately 40 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, which makes it easy to reach them. This neighbourhood is especially quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case close to Autoroute de l'Acier or Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best transportation option in sector C. Parking is quite easy, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est. However, the transit in this part of the city is not particularly convenient. Nonetheless, property owners are served by Du Quartier and Brossard with access to the Gare Centrale - Brossard. The neighbourhood is linked by around 40 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of sector C, although meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without a vehicle. In contrast, it is easy to commute by bicycle in sector C because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good, and cyclists do not face significant slopes.

Housing

The majority of buildings are small apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in sector C, while single detached homes and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This area has a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas the rest are renters. This part of Brossard experienced its biggest construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this era.

Services

It is sometimes an option for house buyers in sector C to purchase groceries by walking. Furthermore, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of choices, and there are also a few coffee shops in this area. With regards to education, in sector C, families will almost always be able to reach daycares by foot. On the other hand, there are no primary schools and no high schools in this neighbourhood.
