Southeast Kelowna is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. However, commuting by transit can be challenging in this area as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines crossing the sector, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Southeast Kelowna is rather cycling-friendly. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very convenient for those who get around on foot since almost no daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle.

Homeowners occupy around 85% of the units in the sector and 15% are rented. Single detached homes and row houses are the predominant housing type in this sector. Around 30% of properties in this sector were built after the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. Accessing one of around 10 grocery stores by walking is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in Southeast Kelowna. Residents of this part of the city benefit from around 40 restaurants as well. When it comes to education, there are only a very small number of high schools in Southeast Kelowna and therefore they can be a very long stroll away. Moreover, this area does not have any primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not very plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance.
