This part of the city is particularly car friendly. Coming across a place to park is generally easy. However, the transit network in Southridge is not very practical. On the other hand, commuting by bicycle is easy in this part of the city.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and therefore tend to require a very long walk to get to. With respect to eating, it is easy to access the nearest supermarket without the need for a car in Southridge. Residents can enjoy a few restaurants and coffee shops as well.
