Squaam 2 is an excellent reserve to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. Most areas in Squaam 2 are especially quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.

Transportation

Squaam 2 is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. It is very hard to move around by bicycle in Squaam 2 because there are very few bike lanes, and the topography is not especially flat. It is also very challenging for pedestrians to navigate this reserve because almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Housing

Large apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing a small minority of dwellings in Squaam 2. This reserve offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Nearly all of the population of this reserve own their home and renters make up the remainder. A small minority of properties in this part of Thompson-Nicola were constructed before the 1960s.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this reserve. Furthermore, parents may consider it very hard for their schoolchildren to get to daycares by walking. Regarding food, a car is almost always required in Squaam 2 to reach the closest supermarket.
