St. Basile 10 is a reserve to buy a house in for those who prefer a chill atmosphere. St. Basile 10 remains relatively calm, since there are very few pedestrians.

Transportation

The preferred mode of transportation in St. Basile 10 is usually a car. Finding a parking spot is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Grey Rock Roundabout. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in St. Basile 10 as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and cyclists encounter quite a few elevation changes. Nonetheless, some enjoyable areas for bicycling exist. A majority of the homes for sale in this reserve are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who get around by walking as most daily needs are occasionally challenging to carry out without the use of a car.

Housing

In St. Basile 10, about 70% of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This reserve offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 60% of the units in the reserve and the remainder are rented. The buildings in this part of Madawaska County are quite new, because roughly 40% of its buildings were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s.

Services

In all but a limited number of cases, a car is required to buy groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally easy to reach on foot and provide some basic food items. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. With respect to education, parents and their kids will appreciate the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from most homes for sale in St. Basile 10. However, there are only a few high schools in this reserve and thus they can be an extended trip away. Additionally, St. Basile 10 does not contain any primary schools.
