It is very convenient to access a place to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 405, are quite easy to reach from any location in this neighbourhood. However, this area is not a very convenient part of Niagara Falls for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, there are approximately 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Stamford is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot since running daily errands is inconvenient by walking.

Housing

About 80% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented. In this part of Niagara Falls, most buildings are single detached homes, and the remainder are mainly townhouses. Most housing in this neighbourhood was built in the 1960s and 1970s, during its largest building boom. This part of the city is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

Parents and their kids will value that no matter where their property is situated in this part of Niagara Falls, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are only a few high schools and therefore they can be a rather long walk away. In terms of eating, a fraction of residents in this part of Niagara Falls may have the option to do groceries on foot in one of about 10 stores, while others will have to use another means of transportation. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity.
