Transportation

Star City is a very good town for moving around by car. It is very easy to find a parking spot. Many of the houses for sale in this town are located in areas that are not very suitable for pedestrians because almost no common errands can be run without a car. Star City is also not very amenable to cycling as the bicycling infrastructure is rather poor, and the topography is not especially flat.

Housing

The substantial percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Star City is an important part of its character. About 45% of homes in this part of Division No. 14 were built prior to the 1960s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s. This town has a good choice of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Roughly three quarters of the population of this town own their home while renters make up the remainder.

It is very rarely an option for house buyers in this town to shop for groceries without needing to get in a car. In terms of education, it is a very short trip to get to both primary and secondary schools from most properties for sale in Star City. However, it can be very difficult to access daycares without a vehicle.
