More specifically, house owners benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Strathcona is also quite car friendly. Parking is quite easy.

Housing

In Strathcona, most buildings are small apartment buildings, while large apartment buildings and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. Roughly 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. Renters occupy roughly two thirds of the dwellings in the neighbourhood while owners occupy the remainder.
