Summerlea is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This part of Edmonton is reasonably quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, reaching green spaces from a lot of locations within the neighbourhood, such as Summerlea Park, is easy since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover.


Summerlea will attract property owners that value different modes of transportation. It is convenient for people walking to get around in Summerlea; running daily errands is easy. With respect to education, in Summerlea, families will commonly be able to access both primary and secondary schools on foot. However, daycares are not very numerous and consequently tend to require an extended walk to get to.
