Switsemalph is reasonably quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however some areas can be quite loud, especially around the railway line.
Driving is a great means of transportation in this reserve. It is very easy to come across a place to park. Switsemalph is not very well-suited for walking as almost no common errands can be run on foot.
The homes in this reserve are very new, since about half of its dwellings were constructed in the 1990s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. The housing stock of this reserve is composed predominantly of single detached homes and row houses. Roughly all of the units in the reserve are occupied by homeowners and the remainder are rented. This part of the Salmon Arm metropolitan area offers mainly two bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
Switsemalph does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, it can be very difficult to reach daycares on foot. In terms of food, some, but not all, home buyers in Switsemalph will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store.
