Transportation

The favoured method to get around in Tamarack is very often driving. Nearby highways are easy to access from any location in Tamarack, and it is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, the public transit service in this part of Edmonton is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. It is challenging for people walking to navigate this part of the city because very few common errands can be run on foot. However, this area is reasonably conducive to biking because Tamarack has a very good cycling infrastructure, and it is an even ride to most destinations.

The homes in this part of the city are very modern, because nearly all of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed 1990. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 85% of the units in Tamarack whereas the rest are rented.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most houses for sale in Tamarack. In contrast, Tamarack does not contain any high schools. With respect to eating, it is convenient to reach the closest grocery store by walking in this area. A small selection of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.
